Game of Needs

In December 2011 the first prototype of a board game called Game of Needs, was played by eight communication trainers in Lebensgarten (Germany). The reactions were enthusiastic. At this moment I’m working on a final version. The image gives you an impression of the board. Click on it for a larger image.

The game can be played solo, with a small group and as part of training. It’s two main aims are:

The game has three main phases. Each of the phases has a variety of exercises to play. On the blue circle you get a chance to express thoughts and feelings you have around an issue. On the green circle you’ll find the needs that are connected to this situation. In the third phase you’ll follow the yellow path to find solutions an strategies. The game uses a lot of insights from the Book of Needs.
